Coworking chain WeWork is to open its first regional branch in Poland in Kraków next year. The news was announced at conference.
We Work is also planning to open its first centre in Russia this year in Moscowand in 2020 it is to open in St Petersburg. Also next year the chain is to open in Budapest and Bucharest. WeWork currently has two centres in Warsaw including in the Cedet building on ul. Krucza 50 and in the Browary Warszawskie centre in Warsaw’s Wola district. The company has also announced that it is to open in Europejski Offices on ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście in early June and that it will take up an entire building of 14,000 sqm in the Mennica Legacy Tower complex.
“We’ve created a separate expansion plan for the Chinese market, where the number of flexible offices with a co-working part is to increaseover the next few years. WeWork is also planning to debut in Africa with openings planned for five cities including Johannesburg and Cape Town, “ announced Piotr Lagowski, the head of growth fo Eastern Europe at We Work. The chain opened its first office in 2010 in New York and now the company has branches in 106 cities across 28 countries.
